Lactose Free Diet

Lactose is a simple sugar seen in the milk. Most of the diary products contain lactose. Lactose is also found in some of the food products. It is used as filler in capsules and pills. The small intestine divides the lactose into two parts of sugar. These small sugars are absorbed by the body. The sugars in the lactose are providing nourishment to the body.

A lactose free diet may not sound good for those who are highly depended on milk and milk products. Most of the infants depend on milk and its products for getting the complete nutrition. Lactose free diet is a boon for people with lactose intolerance.

Lactose intolerance may create some symptoms. It may cause stomach upset, diarrhea, vomiting, bloating, gas, cramping and damage to the intestine. Lactose free diet makes the stomach comfortable and helps in easy absorption of the nutrients in the food.

Lactose Free Diet Shakes
Lactose free diet does not contain lactose in it. It is important to avoid milk and other milk products to live with lactose intolerance. The person is not supposed to have lactose foods. Try to get a full list of lactose food items to be careful while buying things from the supermarket or grocery store.

Lactose free shakes are readily available in the market. It is available in different flavors and tastes. It is favorable to have lactose free milk, canned nutrition drinks, soy milk and soy milk products, creamers which are non-diary etc.
