The vitamins which leads to the deficiency of the hair loss are vitamin A, vitamin B, Vitamins C and some other minerals which are responsible for this are iron, zinc and copper.
- Vitamin A: Promotes cell growth and overall health.
- Vitamin B: This vitamin is beneficial for healthy hair growth. B6, B12 and folic acid supports red blood cells which in turn provide constant supplies of blood and oxygen to the hairs.
- Vitamin C: This vitamin produces collagen which is responsible for building structure of hair.
- Minerals Copper, Zinc, Iron: Copper supports hemoglobin, so it provides blood to the hair shaft. Similarly, lack of iron can lead to anemia which results in loss of hair. Zinc is responsible for hair follicles. Damage to them will result in dandruff and hair loss.
Hair Loss In Women And Vitamin Deficiency:
Hair loss in women is a normal phenomenon. The major reason of hair loss in women is known to be deficiency of any of the vitamin or mineral. As the hair loss which takes place in pre- menopausal women is not because of hormones but due to deficiency of iron in the women’s body. Iron is an important nutrient for hemoglobin which is found in blood and nourishes the hair shaft. Deficiency of iron leads to anemia which results in hair loss.
Similarly, all the other vitamins and their supplements are very necessary for healthy hairs any kind of deficiency in them will result in hair loss.
