Potatoes- Storehouse Of Vitamins

Potatoes are a rich source of Vitamin A, Vitamin C, iron niacin, thiamine and most importantly carbohydrates.

They are fat free and are easy to digest. They help keep us active and help us stay loaded with energy. Unfortunately we eat it in the wrong form, with lots of cream, butter and loads of oil.

Eating a baked potato with minimum amount of salt will greatly help improve cardiovascular functioning, rather than contributing to cardiovascular attacks.

Eaten in the right form, potatoes greatly help in lowering the blood pressure, strengthening the nervous system and greatly increase athletic performance.

Potatoes baked with skin are a healthy option as they have all the vitamins and nutrients intact.

So, the next time you come across baked potato, eat a hearty amount, but definitely do try and avoid French and deep-fried potatoes.
