One finds it difficult to indulge in healthy nutritious food everyday because of lack of time and a hectic life style. Fast food on the other hand is more filling and easy to make. But these foods are not as healthy as they claim to be, it is therefore very important that one has a healthy balanced diet.
The food we eat plays a great role in determining our skin type. A balanced diet helps us have a glowing and healthy skin. It is also important that you have a diet rich in vitamins. The vitamins that one should have is
1) Vitamin A: which helps strengthen the skin and helps prevent the sprouting of ugly acne. It helps control the major cause of acne- excess sebum production. It helps in the maintenance of a healthy skin. A powerful antioxidant, it helps lush out the excess toxins from the skin and body.
2. Vitamin B Complex: Which helps one to maintain a healthy skin tone, by reliving and calming one down in times of stress and pressure. One may notice that their skin tone fades a lot in times of stress; regular consumption of Vitamin B will help relieve the stress. It also helps strengthen the immunity levels in the body.
3. Vitamin C: is an important antioxidant and is essential in wound healing and prevents the appearance of broken blood vessels. When applied on the skin, it reduces the appearance of wrinkles and sunburns.
4. Vitamin E: Helps keep the skin moisturized, smooth, and soft and prevents the skin from being tanned.
