Vitamin C does not fight Cold

Most people believe that Vitamin C supplements keep them away from Cold. Research, however, proves otherwise.

A result of 30 studies including 11,000 people proves that Vitamin C doesn’t fight Cold. However, it is good for cold in people like soldiers, marathon runners, skiers etc.

Doctors think that it is senseless to take 365 days to avoid cold. Though vitamin C doesn’t cause any side effects, doctors that believe that it could be extremely costly to afford daily. The amount spent on buying supplements can be used for buying fresh food with lots of nutrients in it.

The general dosage of vitamin C in adults is 60mg per day and a bit more for smokers and pregnant women. Taking more isn’t a problem though.
