Too Many Vitamins?

We all are in such a rush, that we end up saving time by reducing food intake or probably having food on the run. As a result balanced diet is on our tables only once in a week. We tend to replace this by taking vitamin supplements. The idea is fine but how many of take the right amount of vitamins, without over doing it?

The problem with taking vitamins directly into our body is that there is every chance that we might over do it. Large quantities of vitamins or minerals taken in can intoxicate your body, which could meddle with the process of certain medications and other metabolic activities. Hair loss, skin problems, vision problems, depression etc can all occur as a result.

Hence doctors suggest that it is best to find the right combination of vitamins and minerals in your food, rather than in health supplements. However, if you have to opt for vitamins, do so but don’t forget to consult your doctor.
